Church Shepherding
The purpose of the Church Shepherding Track is to prepare lay people and leaders to sacrificially serve Christ's Church. The Gospel Institute courses are offered at various times throughout the year. The Local Church Internship is designed in partnership with your church leadership. Completion of the Church Shepherding track occurs when you have finished both the course work and your internship. All classes are 12 weeks long unless otherwise specified.
*If you have already taken A Legacy of Faith, it can serve as a replacement for one of the two required Systematic Theology classes. Contact your instructor for more details.
Biblical Counseling & Discipleship
The purpose of the Biblical Counseling & Discipleship Track is to prepare Christians to strengthen and encourage their Brothers and Sisters through focused discipleship.
This 36-week course gives a practical understanding of how to participate int he discipleship arena in a meaningful way that crates a plan for life change while demonstrating love, compassion, wisdom, and Biblical truth. The evenings will be split into two identical sessions offering the opportunity for lecture, observation, case studies, and more. We will be teaching through the minimum requirements for ACBC classroom certification.
There are two primary elements: ACBC classes taught through The Gospel Institute courses and mentoring and observing.
Each Participant’s local church will set the guidelines for the observation and determine when the observation is completed.
